Urban Identity Tirana / Fictional School project, 2022 Albania, has undergone multiple changes throughout its history, being a country that has been forcibly stripped of its identity several times, experiencing various occupations until a few hundred years ago. Albania and Tirana have remnants from each era. After the transition away from dictatorial communism, the city managed to reduce corruption and criminality by simply adding color to its surroundings. These factors contribute to Tirana being an eclectic and patchworky city that aspires to progress into the future while still honoring its past and identity.
